Comments:
The blocks on the friendship quilt were embroidered by friends of my mother in the 1930's. She set the blocks in the quilt later in the colors of the 30's. All the people where names were in the blocks have long passed away, as has my mother. The indelible pencil used would not be removed so a patch was appliqued over the names. The quality of the hand quilting is worth a look.
