For many years, the sewing group from our church has donated quilts for this auction. Several years ago, my oldest daughter, Jessica and I decided we would make one and donate it. After some discussion, we thought for a first project maybe we should start smaller, so we purchased a pattern for a wall hanging in these beautiful bright colors. We planned a sewing day and proceeded to read the patter, sewing, and ironing but not getting anywhere near finishing. Fast forward several years and Mom thought "I will finish this project." The problem was no pattern to be found to complete the wall hanging. The answer was take it to the church sewing ladies and let them do their magic. They took this half done project and made a beautiful quilt which we are now happy to donate to the 2024 quilt auction. Sue Heiden
